Valentine’s Day is not my favorite Holiday. In fact I tell Eric never to buy flowers around Valentine’s Day because the price of flower sky rockets, but he can buy me flowers any other time of the year. Also every year of marriage Eric has had to work because he has been working in restaurants, and everyone eats out. In fact I remember our first valentine’s day when we were married and I was 6 months pregnant with Aiden and I went in and helped at his work because they were so short handed that night.
Over the past few years we do eat out celebrating Valentine’s day but we do it a few weeks later. We do it during Denver Restaurant week where tons of restaurants have multiple course menu’s for $52.80 (Denver is 5,280 feet above sea level). This year we already have reservations at Duo for March 1st.
Sorry to be a party pooper for v-day. It’s kind of funny when I love to photograph people in love! Happy Valentine’s Day!
